thanks, friends!! it DID go pretty fast, though i have spent an inordinate amount of time working on it this week...(read - NOT cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, sleeping...ha ha). now i almost don't have the motivation to go back to working on my shawl, b/c it's taking so much longer - i want something else that will go fast!!
